What is Hot Asphalt Crack-Sealing?

Sealmaster’s hot crack and joint sealant material is made up of asphaltic resins and synthetic polymer rubber materials. The use of Hot Crack Sealant is extremely important in preventing water penetration into the asphalt surface.

What are the benefits of Hot Asphalt Crack-Sealing?

Hot Crack Sealant provides a protective barrier at the point of asphalt cracking and prevents water penetration (ice/rain/snow) into asphalt surfaces, as well as, the sub-base. Hot Crack Sealant is most effective when applied to reflective, block, edge, and joint cracks. (Hot Crack Sealant is not affective in areas that are alligator’ed and/or fatigued). Hot Crack Sealant will extend the life of the asphalt surface considerably!
